Self Work

These pages are all about things related to self-love, self improvement and self care. It took me eons to learn how to properly give myself some genuine love and come to terms with the fact I always put myself after others. It hurt every time to realize that I’m not treated the same in return in most cases and I’d still continue to give without equal expectations. Now, I prioritize myself especially on my down days, with people who don’t look back at me and when something goes wrong in life. It’s changed how I view my life, my self-worth and what I “deserve” in this lifetime.

These pages will touch up on a few habits like an optimistic and growth-based mindset (unlearn and re-learn healthy self-love) and overall detoxing techniques to my lonely days (i.e. be a real, healthy parent to myself). Also throwing in nutrition (aka survival skills because eating junk won’t keep me alive), hygiene (Duh! Self-care), makeup (purely self-love *ahem ahem* for dating prospects, of course), skincare (for some youth supposedly) and hobbies (for personal growth). They’ll be in no particular order and I’ll edit some along the way as I continue my adventures so I hope you have a few real laughs reading through these experiences and take some fun back to your lives.

Let’s be real here. We all love food a little too much in this day and age – you agree we can each have a long soliloquy about our favorite meals any day of the week…….But, is eating freely really a good thing though? Or god forbid, what if snacks are really not meant to be eaten at 1 am while watching a comfy, feel-good show? Let’s dig through this properly.
